originally cast on 1-dec with 2.5 and 84 stitches; way too big, later that same evening, cast on 72 stitches with 2.5--still too big

finally ended up casting on 72 with 2.25mm on 2-dec.

plan to switch to 2.50mm once i’m done with 1-inch of ribbing

so 2.50 is too small for pattern, ripping back to cuff and will try out 2.75 for leg

dec 27th: ended on round 12 of chart before starting toe; using 2.0 for toe and doing decreases every round once i reach a total of 60 stitches because i had slightly less than an inch left after final chart round also know that 2.75 and 2.25 toes would be too big--grafted toe shut with 16 stitches on each needle; fit is perfect:)

started second sock on jan 9th

for some reason, i had to go to round 18 of the chart on the second foot, and i closed with 18 stitches on each needle…but they fit:) and i don’t think it will be obvious that one sock has a few more rounds on the foot…i wonder if these will still fit though AFTER i have the baby…:)
