update dec 12, 2012…i just couldn’t rip it all out…so i ripped out the seams and am going to either crochet it together or do a 3-needle bind off…if i get it done in the next few weeks, it will actually fit my cutie pie:)

my seaming is terrible; i’m frogging this and going with a different pattern :(

used long tail cast on, completed almost half of this in one afternoon!
interested to see how this construction turns out:) love the yarn so far.

measures 10.5 inches at center back before starting neck shaping.

feb 4th: where it said to work for 3 in in garter i actually only worked to 2.75; i kept folding sweater up to make sure everything was matching size wise and because my gauge is a little off, i have slightly different measurements. but i love how this is going, and all i have to do now is sew up! the part i hate…oh and find a button…or two.

my first attempt came out really wonky so will re-try the underarm…using the video above.

i made a mistake on the back when i was weaving in my ends (and i accidentally pulled out a stitch!) so it looks a little odd on one little area on the top of the back…i should have pulled it out but i kept going; i figure it won’t be noticeable to anyone but me…but we’ll see…maybe i can cover it with a button…
