Project Preparation
I have agonized over skeins in my stash, and destash skeins, and skeins in the shop and have finally come to a decision. Probably. Well, the orange is questionable. It will either be the handspun orange/pink or some yellow handspun that I have.

I really need to just cast on and let the chips fall.

Think I’m finally ready to cast on. I added Go Play Outside to the mix and LOVE it. I wish I had a thousand more of this skein. I spun up a little plain yellow to compliment the streaks of gold and yellow in it, and I think the purple-blue base will go nicely with my mystery mohair. I think Go Play Outside will be the skein that pulls all the others together. Fingers crossed, here I go.

Coming along nicely. Had the pattern memorized pretty fast, which is convenient. If I stare at it or work on it for too long at a time, I start to hyper-analyze each segment and whether everything looks good. It’s certainly colorful. :)

At about 45 inches. Have a ways to go yet, but I’m past the halfway mark. I’m going to block pretty aggressively lengthwise to get the hand spun and mohair segments to sit flat. I’m already in the planning stages of another Outline. The next will definitely be all Hedgehog - the softness and color really can’t be beat.

Off the needles! Ended at about 76 inches, blocked out to 85. It definitely grew a bit, but I did block more lengthwise than widthwise.
