I caught a peek of this months Hedgehog Fibres lace club (Silk Merino) on Instagram and I think it’s actually going to be a great choice for this.
Pre-Project Update: Now that I have my skein of Viridian, I’m really feeling the Magic Copper Red lined beads. The copper jives well with that brown streak in the yarn. Of course, they’re backordered on Auntie’s Beads now, so I’ll wait a couple weeks and then order them.

Beads and yarn together. I really think they’re going to be a good match. Can’t wait until Thursday!

Almost finished! Really pushing to get this done and blocking by the start of the Danse MKAL. The beads are hard to photograph, but really glow against the yarn. I think the variegation will smooth out a little with blocking - I love how rich and saturated the color is.

Whew!! Longest bind-off ever. Hemmed and hawed, then wrestled with it for awhile, but ultimately went with the crocheted bind-off. I only did 6 chains though, instead of 10 per point. It wasn’t bad once I got the hang of what I was doing. Going to soak and pin it out tomorrow - it already feels enormous so I can’t wait to see the lace all opened up.

Finished shawl is so soft and fine. The beads add a lovely weight and drape, I will definitely be keeping this pattern in my arsenal. The block was a bit of a challenge; my advice is to make sure you have enough pins/wires/space before you soak and lay out the shawl - haha. Really beautiful though, I think this is my first finished KNIT lace with actual lace-weight and I totally love it.
