Trying to find new ways to contruct cardis… What’s better than baby cardi. I like the way the garter stitch looks when worked sideways.

I had started with the brassiere from drops link text
but the instructions were confusing and it was really large….
Found this one, much clearer.

Cast on 50 stitches.
Already 3 “stripe B” done.

I should give a boost on this one.
I love this pattern and I have ordered more yarn to make it in different colors so better finish this one before loads of yarn arrive!
I am at the second sleeve.
Like others, I did a crochet provisional cast on for the sleeve then a 3 needle bind off to close it.

I should (and will in the future) have slipped the first stich on every forw to make it neater.

- do actual stripes,
-slip the first stitch on each row
