I couldnt resist when I saw the yarn! So cast on as soon as I was back home to avoid dormant yarn.
Mods:
-Tubular cast on: provisional cast on 53 stitches with scrap yarn, followed the instruction for tubular cast on in the round here: link text

Increase rounds: 8 stitches increased 12 times makes 96 stitches
So increased round every other round :200 stitches

170 stitches now.
30 more to go
4more increase row will be 32 (then I have to count which section has too few-too many stitches.
Edit:
- section 1 first sleeve - 30 stitches
- section 2 - back - 58 stitches
- section 3 second sleeve - 30 stitches
- section 4 front - 59 stitches. Total 177 stitches. Aiming for 200 so 3 more rows of increases. The last section front should have only 1 increase instead of 2.

Finished the yoke.

Finishing the ribbing of the body. Finishing the 3rd skein of yarn so more than 600m for body.

Attached the 4th skein for the 1st sleeve. Let’s see if 1 skeinis enough for both sleeves but I doubt so.

I did have enough for 1 sleeve, but barely!
I attached the remaining yarn for the 2nd sleeve and I am using the 5th one now.
I am at half the second sleeve.

Finished yesterday, still needs washing and blocking.

Stretched hugely after washing.
Too bad, DS wont be able to wear it for new school term (dangling below his knees now, it’s more a dress than a sweater), but he will certainly grow so perhaps after christmas?
