This is a Granny stripe using Stlecraft DK acrylic yarn, I purchased a ‘Lucy pack’ from Mason’s. I have used 2 rows of treble Granny stripe and one row in double crochet using ‘Meadow’ as an accent colour. I need to get this completed, all ends sewn in and then the edging done as baby has arrived!

Now this is completed I have found it a bit of an anti-climax. I am not too happy with the ‘carnival’ edging I chose but do not have the heart to undo it and re-do it. I think the blanket is very pretty but ‘Carnival’ edging would be better for smaller projects. I wish I had kept the edging plain or scalloped.
