About to cast on now. I’ve had this yarn forever with no idea what to do with it, and here comes this test knit! Perfect timing.

I’ve had to rip back three times and have conceded that perhaps that particular yarn does not want to be this shawl. So I’m giving it another go with a different color, which is more Autumn than Spring, but that’s fine by me. Trying the cable cast on, since maybe it won’t be as twitch-inducing as the long-tail.

Here we go again!

It’s cruising along now that I’m under 200 stitches. I figure it’ll probably be done in the next day or so, and then tack another on for blocking. This thing is so, so lovely.

And done! The top picture is closest to the actual color. All in all? Fun, quick, easy knit that turned out beautifully. I know I’ll get a lot of wear out of this baby, so I’m absolutely chuffed at the test and the end result.

End thoughts? Will probably most definitely make this again, probably a million times, in different colors.

…Once I’m over being absolutely tired of the leaf pattern, lmao.
