Love this Beret!
Two different patterns - lace and cable - are perfect marriage!
Would recommend to anyone to knit.

Made two - one for my mom and one for my friend.

I wanted it to be more like a beret than a beanie and made a few modifications:

• Used worsted weight yarn and different needles sizes.
• Casted on 108sts, as for the smaller size, using twisted German cast-on method.
• Made a chart, following the written instruction.
• Rib band is 5.5cm
• Made 4 repeats of the body pattern.
• Modified decreases, a little, to my taste.

Beige beret on the top - kept the same pattern decreases.
White beret - modified/lengthened a little.
