I used Acrylic recycled yarn for warp and plastic strips, cut out of grocery bags) for weft.

8 dpi, Ashford 24” Rigid Heddle loom.

The handles were woven on Inkle loom using Peach and Cream cotton yarn.

I made my cloth long enough to make two totes.

Also I made 2 strips for handles handles. One length of strip makes for two handles for one bag!

My problem - see how my tote is tapered on the top? It is a second picture from the bottom up. So…. My warp was not even - too much slack in the middle. Have to practice warping more.
