Notes

After our guild took a workshop on Linen Lace Weaving in April, I got Ashford table loom.
As a guild member I can borrow it anytime!
Yay!

I choose this simple pattern, because of simplicity and some sparks of interest.
The loom I have is 18”, so instead of Hand Towels, I made Tea Towels.

One day I spent on the warping and slaying the loom. My friend from the guild was helping me to go from A to Z. Bless her heart!
After hard work was over, I could relax.

Then it was just weaving.
Tabby was alright.
But I’ve never done overshot.
Well, I just played with it.
I use some thick mercerized cotton for it.

My pattern selvages came out a little bit wobbly, but bearable.
After washing the cloth looks much better.
Pressing and ironing is a no-picnic task!
Done my edges by hand.
