Yarn I used is finer than pattern suggests, so I had to add extra 2 sts per every 1” fabric.
Eventually, I added 2 pattern rapports and did some adjustments to the increases and decreases, trying to stay true to the design.

I had to re-knit the bottom several times in order to get brown color and nice and stretchy edges - I like them to be pointy.
Settled up on crocheted bind off method.
Also, I did one extra chain sts on both sides of the “point”.

Following designer suggestions, I blocked it on the ironing board. Just pinned and hot steamed it, let it cool and air-dry.
It took me about 4 passes to have it done.

The finished weight is 42gr or 1.4oz.

My cowl is very light, but warm enough.

(will look so pretty in long color repeats in hand-spun yarn)
