Finished the hat part before the end of March, but dithered on adding the pompom. My first tubular cast-on

This hat’s going to be for my niece, Cate - who will be travelling to Italy with me next year.

When I added the pompom to the hat last night, I popped it onto my favourite giraffe ornament - it looked so cute I decided to use it for my finished object picture.

The Giraffe ornament is Jonathon Adler - Dr K gave him to me for Christmas a couple of years ago.
