Started today. This is my first hat project. Pattern is so clear and well written. I have had no problems at all following it. I am a little worried for when I have to switch over to dpn’s at the end. I have never used them before.

The dpn’s were not bad at all! A few online tutorials and I was on my way. I decreased every row since by the time I got done with the pattern it already measured 6”. I also used a size 6 needle the entire hat instead of switching to a 7 after the ribbing. It is still a bit larger than I had wanted. I think next time I will decrease the ribbing rows to only 10 instead of 12 and see how that goes.

Finished this morning. I found a few holes from the dpn’s. I stitched them shut the best I could. I could use some more practice. Overall, I love the hat! The pattern is just lovely and the yarn is so gorgeous! very soft.
