A recent request / mention of color discharge brought this to mind. A thrice hand-me-down and returned to me now is the time to show it off. The grey cotton was knit on my standard and with side seams unfinished a bleach color discharge technique was used. Stencils, bleach, bleach pens and a variety of miscellaneous tools for the designs. Peroxide stopped the action of the bleach. Seams were then finished a a final wash and voila a fun, fun cardi.
Three stitches in the asymmetrical front were e-wrapped on the purl side to control the curl of the front edge.
