Notes

This project was woven on a Louet David 8 shaft loom using only 4 of the shafts.

I love this Salsa table runner. I had a lot of fun weaving it, changing colors and patterns as I went along.

For the threading I chose the Rose Path Sampler #1 (8 thread pattern repeated 23 times) from the “Green book”, pages 16-17.

I used 10-12 or so colors of un-mercerized cotton with various treadlings. No advance planning on the stripes - just wove the patterns at random and changed colors as I went along.

60 threads per shaft, 15” wide = 240 ends total, plus 4 ends for floating selvedges (2 per side).

16 epi with a 12 dent reed threaded 1, 1, 2 repeat.

2.5 yard warp length

13.5” wide off of the loom before washing, shrank to 12” x 65” after wash / dry / hem.
