Wow, I measured and I got perfect gauge using this yarn. Go me. (I rarely measure gauge.)

7/1 - Cast on since I need some mindless knitting. This pretty much sums up mindless. Lots of garter and stockinette.

About 6 inches into the back. Yay for fast knitting.

7/2 - Already up to the armhole shaping for the back. I’m aiming to have the back done tonight.

I can’t read. Dec 2 stitches then do 3 MORE times means 4 times total. Duh. Trying to decide if I want to just put the decrease in now (about an inch after the others) or pull back the 4 rows… I should just pull back.

I pulled back. All fixed!

Back is done! Woo.

Going to start the fronts now.

I can’t find ANY of my US11 circs, so I’m going to do the fronts one at a time for the first time ever. Weird.

Left front is about 2 inches into the armhole shaping.

7/3 - Left front is done! That was fast. I’m going to start the right side now.

Body is all done and sewn up. I need to find one GIANT button. I’m hoping I have one laying around somewhere.

7/4 - Sleeves done. One sewn on. Just need to sew the other one on, make the collar, and find a button!

Sleeves are sewn on and all ends woven in. The collar is knit, but needs to be sewn on and I’m too sleepy for that! I found a button that will do for now. I stole it off of my fav winter coat.

7/5 - ALL DONE! It’s so cute. I’ll get photos tonight. It does need to be blocked so the collar stays down.

7/6 - It’s blocking now. I accidentally left it soaking in the sink overnight.
