www.stickatillbarbie.se Wonderful website has so many free Barbie patterns to choose from. I used both of these patterns as starting off points but kinda did my own thing to get the outfit I wanted. Endless possibilities and fun to make.
I’m having so much fun making these doll clothes. I used sock yarn and the eyelash yarn was a gift. The hat looks pretty crazy and big…hehe oh well they’ll have fun playing with her. I knitted it exactly as the pattern requested then put a couple of stitches in the side to give the cowgirl hat shape. I found I had quite a bit of brim left at the back and had to make a seam to get rid of the excess. I should have cast on fewer stitches maybe 65. I sewed the crown inside out to get the divet in the top.
For the dress I followed the pattern to the waist then did a 1k 1p rib adding very fine elastic just at the waist so it cinched in. Then increased over 3 rows until I got the fullness.
