1/21/10 - I can’t believe this sucker has been sitting at 90% for so long. Thank goodness for the 3IG Stashdown KAL! It encouraged me to go back and finish this WIP. I had vague memories of having started the first sleeve, so I would only be dealing with a sleeve and a half, the seams, and the band. So I pulled out the cardigan…and discovered that both sleeves had been finished, the shoulder seams had been sewn, and I’d already started picking up the band stitches! There’s not much left to do, which is good ‘cause this gets done before I’m letting myself touch anything else.

1/22/10 - That was tougher than it should have been! Not sure how I managed to strangle the yarn so badly while picking up the stitches for the front band and neck, but the stitches were so tight that I had to take the needle off the cable and knit straight from the cable! But all the knitting is done, and I just have the seaming left to do.

1/23/10 - See how easy that was? Just 2 days after picking it up again, I’m done. And it looks great! All I needed to do was stick with it. Lesson learned…let’s see if it stays learned.
