8/24/08 - I guess it was a bronze finish, or maybe a silver. I got them done on the right day, but I was just past the thumb opening on the second glove with the closing ceremonies concluded. Still, even if I didn’t medal it was definitely a victory. They were the first fingerless gloves I did and the first time I used DPNs to do a thumb/finger. And I did finish them! I love that since I made them both from the same skein, they don’t look like they match at all. I purposely used yarn from other another skein or a different end of the skein for the thumbs so they stood out. I love them!
