I had no idea I had any pictures of this sweater - I didn’t even remember it until I was looking through old pictures for something else. It was the very first sweater I ever knit Lexie. It literally involved knitting 5 rectangles - 1 back, 2 fronts, and 2 sleeves - and seaming them together. I used some really soft and really shiny acrylic yarn I found at the local Hobby Lobby (I didn’t yet know about those mythical places called “yarn stores”) and added some pastel variegated to the white because I was feeling adventurous.

It was a perfect fit. Lexie is just 8 days old in that picture. Man, they grow so fast…
