I’ve been thinking about a hat for the upcoming science march that would be faster to knit than the brain hat and easier to knit than the colorwork hats. I think the pussyhat was so successful because it was a pattern that even beginners could easily knit. So I’m trying my hand at an ocean hat. Oceans are one of my biggest concerns though these days it seems there is a concern around every corner.

All it needs for accent is an ocean themed button.

This pattern will be one that allows you to use up bits and pieces of stash yarn, and is worsted weight so that it goes faster.

Last photo is of the stash I put together for my trial hat.

Once I get this finalized the pattern will be free until April 22nd.
