12/1/15: I think my gauge is a little small again, even with size 8 needles. I’m adding the Flirtation cable from the Vogue Stitchonary down the front. I’ve added five extra stitches on each side to make up for the tighter gauge of the cables. We’ll see how this works out! I’m making another version of this sweater, this time for my nephew Ozzy.

12/22/15: Well, I don’t think I’ll finish in time for Christmas. I think it will be too small for Ozzy, so instead I will give it to Brook and Jenn’s little boy, who is due in June. Now I just want to finish while the sweater! All that’s left is the button band, blocking, and weaving in ends.

12/29/15: Knitting done! Just need to block and sew on buttons.

1/1/16: Blocked, and ends woven in. Now it just needs buttons.

1/3/16: Done!
