I’m using size 7 needles for the entire thing. I started the cable pattern a little early, worried that it was going to start too low on my short torso. Now I’m wondering if it’s too high. I’m almost ready to bind off along the bottom, and start the button band and sleeves. I’m pretty happy for my first sweater!

Finished! I need to add another button, because the one I attached is too small for the button hole. I think it looks better open anyway though. It’s a little baggy under the sleeves, a little tight around the waste, and uneven and sloppy in some parts, but it’s my first sweater and I love it!
