Fooling around with the kids, I had a chance to take some new pics if Purple Storm, now that it’s really cold in BA… My jacket has been worn a lot and it is still impecable! I think this is the sweater that goes best with my style… I might make a new one in gray :P

I love this jacket so much… I wish it wasn’t so hot to wear it in Buenos Aires right now…

It was my first time working with Malabrigo Twist and it was a huge surprise. I thought I was going to find a “stiff” yarn with that amount of twist… But no! This was the softest yarn I have ever had the pleasure to touch. Honest.
I think that the fact that is not a superwash wool has a lot to do with its softness…
And what can I say about the color! It is a real mystery how they achieve these colors. Have you seen this purple? It is like it was enlightened…

The jacket was really fun to make… And I am sure it will be a lot of fun to wear!
Loved making the little details: pockets, epaulettes… Everything a military jacket has. :D
