Fell in love with this pattern on first sight. I think this is the first time I’m making something in the yarn called for.

9/26/09 About 1/2 way through the front and uploaded a new picture. I am having a great time with this pattern and yarn. It knits quickly.

The designer got in touch with me last night to point out an error that he submitted to the magazine. Just as you finish the sleeves, before adding stitches for the body, there are some decreases. These decreases aren’t mirrored properly in the pattern. He sent me the corrections, while waiting for the magazine to publish the change. How cool is it that thanks to Ravelry, corrections can proactively come to you? Thanks again, Mathew!!

9/27/09 Front finished. Unfortunately, I think I found a mistake in the corrections the designer sent me. Emailed him to confirm. I had to frog back 7 rows or so when I caught it to correct as I felt was right.

10/3/09 Knitting is done. First piece is blocking.

10/4/09 Done! The photos I took of me wearing it came out way too orange. The actual color is closer to the top picture.
