First knitting project for my baby-to-be, this cute red cardigan is very simple but so lovely!

Yarn has no specific interest, except that this is a skein bought 50 years ago by my grand-mother. She certainly wanted to knit some baby wear for my mother-to-be with it, which makes it very special to me.

The pattern is very easy to knit. It’s perfect for new beginners but still interessant for expert knitters, as the finished cardigan is very nice.

The buttons are slightly unsaturated as if is they were vintage. This reminds the origin of the yarn.
The only mod are the 2 sts buttonholes instead of a yarn over like specified in the pattern. I made this because of my small gauge and it’s perfect like this.

Unfortunately, the sleeves seems a bit loo long - pattern has been strictly observed for this point!
The father was still much moved by the smallness of the cardigan!
