Same day:
Okay, I did a few rounds and effed it up. I watched the double heelix youtube video and followed along for several rows until I committed it to memory.

Now, I have a beautiful heel, all done, without having to follow line by line instruction. Time to move on :)

Jan 25th - Put the smaller balls of yarn onto bobbins for easier management and less running away on me. I have 5 inches of stockinette and then the foot will be done. Perhaps I’ll do some knitting at the kids play centre. We’ll see.

Jan 29th - First sock is done. Love it. Love it. Love it. Used the Interlock Bindoff Youtube Video to figure out the bindoff.

Feb 9th - I put this sock down for a few days to work on another project but over the last couple days have blown through the entire foot of the sock. I’m about to start cuff decreases today and will hopefully have a nice finished sock by the weekend.

Feb 11th - Finished the cuff. Almost all ends woven in: I just need to bind off and weave in the final tail, and I have a beautiful pair of double heelix.

Feb 12th - All done. smooth, beautiful, awesome. I love these socks.
