Instead of ribbing, I did a band to match the band on the Zita I made for my niece (link to project

On the last knit row (before the last purl row) I did a k1, k2tog row to make the brim extra floppy to sort of mirror the skirt of the dress.

All in all, a super fun knit. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to make a fast and easy sun hat for a baby girl.
