This is a MONSTER of a project. I estimate I put about 200 hours into this puppy. The project itself is not difficult; it’s just a LOT of knitting, and it’s hard to follow the chart. That’s not the pattern’s fault; it’s just a lot of chart!

Fortunately, I have a new best friend for charts. I have an iPad and I used the app KnitCompanion to keep my place. At first I had a bit of trouble learning the program, but once I got the hang of it, it paid for itself many times over.

My brother is a lifelong LoTR fan, and he really loves the scarf. I’m super happy.
