Notes

My mother told me that when I was a tot, she planted some cactus seeds and soon had little pea-shaped baby cactus sprouts. Then one day, they all disappeared. She is sure I ate them. I probably did. And that story is the inspiration for the name. Hahahahahaha!

Yarn I’ve had for ages. Pattern I’ve wanted to knit for even more ages. In fact this pattern is one of the first sock patterns I found on Rav that I decided to knit. Whoopee!

Two at a time on two 2.25 mm short circs
64 sts
All my favorite sock elements: gusset toe, mini-flap and gusset (5 sts on each end of needle) short row heel…
Shift to 2.5 mm needles above heel

I’m using k-yo-k on the increase rounds rather than k-p-k. I think it flows better and looks smoother.

12 rounds 1X1 twisted rib with JSSBO to finish off.
