Testing this lovely design for Jo Torr (JoHT) with some yarn Brenda gave me. Brenda tried knitting and decided it wasn’t for her, so she gave me her supplies. Want to make this as a surprise for her. I sorely miss her since she moved to eastern Pennsylvania. :-)

Gauge: 4.5 st/in, so the FO is looser and larger than Jo’s original cowl, but I think a tighter gauge would have reduced the lovely drape I achieved.

Love this cast on. The versatility of i-cord never ceases to amaze me.

A quick, comfort knit and a pleasure to test for Jo (Thanks, Jo!). The pleats make it very cozy the yarn makes it delightfully soft and warm.

My one addition to the instructions Jo provided was to keep a marker in place to show the beginning of the round throughout. This is the only marker that did not shift position. But I found it helped me know where I was.

Turning the cowl inside out and lightly blocking the top and bottom edges with steam helped tame the roll a bit.

Looking forward to sending this off to Brenda! Wonder if she remembers the yarn? :-)
