Very, Very Naughty Skein! It was tangled and impossible to unwind from the hank so I had to cut the tangled section out while winding the cakes. There was already one knot in it and that was where the trouble started.

But it’s a gorgeous colorway.

In 2024, the Chinese New Year will start on Saturday, February 10th, and usher in the Year of the Dragon, a symbol of power, strength, and luck.

I had originally planned to knit Dragon Scale Socks but found it very frustrating with this yarn (too dark). Life’s too short to knit socks you aren’t happy with so I frogged back to the toe line and started again.

Staying with the Year of the Dragon theme, I’ve shifted to Alice Yu’s Shur’tugal -- Dragon Rider. I’ve knit this pattern before but they were gifted, so these infamous fiery dragon socks will be for me.
