Mods to accomodate the super chunky yarn: provisional cast on 36 sts. Continue pattern, but at cabling rows pattern as follows: k3, c5f, k5, k5 from cable needle, k10, c5f, k5 k5 from cable needle, k3.
Basically instead of cabling 8, I only cabled 5 at a time.

I wanted it chunky all round, so I repeated the cabling section of the pattern 3 extra times or so.
