Notes

Making this as a wedding shrug, using the lace pattern from Dahlia and the construction specs from Wispy, with the sleeve detail from Raindrops.

Jeannine’s back is 12” across.

Bound off top and bottom after round 7 of chart B, back is about 7” deep in pattern, stretched. Knit sides to 12” total before casting on stitches for the sleeves. Omitted all edge increases after binding off top/bottom to keep a steady amount of stitches across back. Cast on 29 sts at row 23 of chart B and began knitting in the round for sleeves. Finished chart B, then continued in Stockinette. Knit 9” after the sleeve cast on, split as for Raindrops sweater sleeve, centered to the center st of the back. Knit 2” flat, decreased by 20%, switched to smaller needles for about 8 rows before BO.

Picked up stitches, starting from lower right back, with a 1:1 ratio. Increased by 1/3 by kfb, k, p around. Working ribbing in twisted rib for about 1.5”
