Notes

This hat pattern is made for dk yarn, but I used fingering with no problem at all. Only one small modification was necessary. I kept the size 3 needles as the pattern suggested, but added an extra 4 rows of stockinette stitch above the eyelet row. The pattern calls for 2 rows. My total number of rows was six. In a subsequent hat, I knitted 8 rows which I liked even better. This is a very easy pattern to make and I love that it will work so easily with the smaller yarn. I’m going to make it again and again.

The sweater is a different pattern, so it has a separate project on my project page.
