small - CO 56 stitches. didn’t use a cable needle - love that!
started with the left.
I continued the pattern for a couple of repeats while decreasing, but next time I do these, I’ll just do the ribbing per the instructions.
note to self: fastest sock to date 10/29-11/2, except for gratfting.
Take 1 - I’m not CRAZY about the yarn with this pattern (Mirasol Yarn Hacho DK colorway 306 - blue/purple). 2.25mm looks like it’ll fit me (size 7.5/8 ladies)
Take 2 - Tosk DK Silver Fox - switching to 2.5mm needles…this has a better shot of fitting my dad’s feet, but I think it will still be snug. I’m really happy with how the first one looks, though, so…..fingers crossed :)
finished the socks pretty quickly - took me forever to get around to grafting second toe.
