Very enjoyable--the tentacles start emerging near the beginning and what is more fun than that?

Am using slightly thicker yarn and a slightly larger needle to knit men’s socks for my husband, whose feet are not huge. Lovecraft is a fave in the creepy-silly category, so these will be a nice surprise.

Knitting these in tandem, on dpns, and have used labeled stitch markers for right and left socks.

Mods are those suggested in pattern for adding length: I added four rows of ribbing at the cuff and plan to knit one extra of each of the shaded rows in the charts.

I rate the difficulty as medium because these socks require attention: charts need to be followed, they are mirrored for the right and left socks, and several types of small cables are used, but there is also a lot of lovely stockinette, with some nice textural slip stitches on the foot. The instructions and the charts are very clear.
