This is a gift for my brother, who is a big guy, so I made the following modifications to produce a slightly wider and slightly less tall cowl.

Cast On 48 rather than 44 stitches.

Reduced top and bottom ribbing from six rows each to three.

Added one additional three round p2, K2 repeat.

Used Jenny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-Off.

21” circumference and 8.5” height before blocking.
