Notes

May 24, 2014 - Yarn is wound and ready to cast on.

May 25, 2014 - Cast on.

May 26, 2014 - I’ve worked the foundation row and the 3 two row color changes. This yarn is a dream to work with. I love how it feels while it flows through my hands. Would love to work with this yarn again. This is an easy pattern to work put it gets a little confusing with the first and last stitch of each row. I have to keep checking back each time to make sure I’m doing that first and last stitch correctly. I think I have a couple of mistakes but I’m not going to worry about them. They are on the ends and not noticeable in the pattern and as they are also at the beginning of the blanket no one will know they are there.

May 31, 2014 - Had to frog and cast back on. Somehow I had this weird loopy stitch in the middle and I didn’t like the way the edge on one side was turning out. I think I did something wrong there a few times. So I’d rather take it out and start over now then later on down the road we have I have more rows worked. And I also don’t want to look at it later and think gosh I wish I would have fixed that.

June 1, 2014 - Cast back on and already back to where I had to pull it out. Turning out much better. The edges are much smoother. Really like working with this yarn and the way it’s turning out.

August 3, 2014: Pulled this out and cast back on today. I didn’t like the way the edge was coming out. I think I’m going to just knit that first and last stitch instead of purling through the back loop.

September 9, 2014: I like this much better. The edge looks much nicer just knitting that first and last stitch. I think I will stick with this. I need to get this finished. Little Baby V was born September 3rd.
