Update 2016: I never never wear this. I think it’s time to rip it out and re-knit the lovely yarn into something else!
Did you really think I would knit straight from a pattern without changing a bunch of things? Ha!
Keeping the 3 edge stitches in garter because I know they will roll with just a crocheted edge.
Didn’t bother to find gauge (I know, I know, but it’s so tedious). I want something like a size medium, but I don’t have enough yarn. So I’m knitting size small on size 3 needles, since I know I would need needles of a size or two smaller to get gauge. Make sense? Of course row gauge is off too, so I stopped chart B after row 54. That’s what the photos of the my yoke show.
I skipped the eyelet section as I already had enough length.
I knit 6 plain rounds, then divided for sleeves and body. I had 200 stitches, divided 32, 39, 57, 39, 33.
I carefully centered the lace pattern and skipped the first and last two decreases of the lace pattern to make it work out perfectly.
