Tried the doubled waistband and it’s really bulky, so going for single thickness of ribbing with eyelets and and a drawstring (which I wove on my inkle loom).

Working 8 rounds between color changes for wider stripes.

Didn’t want too much flare so I only worked five increase rounds: at beginning of stripes
1, 2, 5, 9, and 15

Started eyelet pattern rounds at the 9th stripe.

I used almost every inch of the three skeins of light green. Really, I think I had less than 2 yards remaining. Used most of three skeins of dark green for the skirt (finer gauge yarn, so it went further), and part of a fourth to weave the drawstring.
