Notes

The colors in the yarn remind me of a carnival.
I don’t know why. I love this yarn.

Written (Book: “60 Quick Knits”) pattern has error. Check errata. I did not know that until I was almost finished with the hat… I made it work!!!!

Reminds me of this hat pattern from www.knitmichigan.com

http://www.knitmichigan.com/sg_userfiles/Lace_Trim_Chemo_...

The lace pattern in the Scalloped Edge Beanie is not the same… it is simpler than the lace pattern in the Lace Trim Chemo Cap. The Lace Trim Chemo Cap is designed for DK weight. I am glad to have found the Scalloped Edge Beanie for my worsted weight yarn. I am planning to make this cap longer than the pattern recommends. Also, replaced SK2P with “Slip 2 stitches together knitwise, k1, psso”.

Did not do as many lace repeats as the pattern recommended. Knit in stockinette until the hat was seven inches from the cast on edge before starting the decreases.

Really enjoyed making this cap!!! :) Fun and very easy to memorize. I am making this cap again with the remaining yarn. Love that I can make two caps with one ball of yarn.
