Yarn from mom! Thanks Mom!

Bernat is calling this yarn “Hot Tamale”? Really.
I renamed it “Bubble Gum”. Reminds me of that horrible blue bubble gum ice cream. Yarn is soft, squishy, plump. I really like it. Should have made a baby hat with this yarn… colors are sort of baby colors. I have plenty of left over yarn. May just have to do that!

I am grumpy this holiday season and everything I was doing felt like a chore and I was enjoying NOTHING I was doing. I finally sat down on the couch with my dog and just knit the grumpiness away yesterday. It felt really good to just do something I wanted to do and ignore the HAVE TO’s for a day. Sure, I still did laundry and dishes and cooked and walked the dog… but I enjoyed the A$$ time!

Not really sure when I started these… November 2013 some time…

Cast on 52 stitches.
K2 P2 ribbing for a little bit
Then 60 ? rounds of stockinette?
Then heel flap until there were about 16 loops.
PU and knit 16 on both sides of heel flap.
Gusset decreases every other round until back to 52 stitches.
Knit 31 rounds in stockinette.
Then toe decreases every other row until 16 ? stitches remain (total 16 stitches).
Graft toe with kitchner.
