Notes

I bought 5 balls of this yarn to make a scarf, matching hat and gloves. Two of the balls had joins, and one ball had a defect in the yarn that had to be cut out and rejoined. You can make this scarf out of only 2 balls, if you make it a little shorter and/or leave off the fringe.

Love this colorway (pale blues, greens and yellow) which is not carried at any of our local Michael’s or JoAnn stores. Had to buy this color at www.joann.com.

The reverse side of this scarf is equally attractive and very 3-dimensional. It worked up very fast using this bulky yarn and size 10 US (6mm) needles. It’s going to be super warm for our cold-weather hikes.

I always try to make my scarves reversible, and this stitch pattern is so interesting on both sides.
