Notes

This is my second time knitting this scarf of my own simple design. Sometimes I just like to show off the lovely morphing colors in the yarn. You can see my first execution here in which I used the same yarn in a different colorway.

King Cole Riot DK is a single ply yarn of varying thickness. It goes from fingering weight to DK, but is mostly on the thin side, so I’m giving it an overall “sport” weight classification by American yarn standards. It’s very soft next to the skin and has a lovely halo. However, I’m only giving it 4 stars because I bought 4 balls, and 3 of them had joins in them. This is particularly upsetting in gradient yarn because it interrupts the transition of the colors. Nevertheless, the scarf turned out looking fantastic due to having extra yarn.

I made a video tutorial showing how I make my tassels.
