Ribbed only 5 rounds to really cut down on yarn, because I’m playing a big chance game and working with slightly less than the bare minimum yardage here. Also because I don’t like really long ribbing - you end up seeing more ribbing than pattern when it gets worn.

4/2/15: Got 3 full repeats and 7/8 rounds of the 4th! That’s 3 more rows than I had even hoped I might get!

5/2/15: Overall, it’s kind of goofy looking. Tried the decrease bind off because it’s supposed to be stretchy and neat. That stupid thing did not budge at ALL. Ripped it out and just went with the one below. Ended with 7g left.

It’s a little lopsided (neat cast off, flared bind off). I changed the 4 row twist to an 8 row twist because the fuzzy alpaca blurred the 4 row twist into oblivion, but I should have planned that better - there’s a 4 row twist on the cast on side that I was too lazy to fix, and the last twist ends right at the cast-off ribbing…it looks kind of dumb and I’m not super happy with it. But I don’t really want to screw around with the bind off for a third time so I might just leave it. Unless the flare really bothers me, then I might rip it and do a sewn bind off. Or I might just wear it upside down with that stupid 4 row twist at the top. Who knows…

Things I learned: This stretchy bind off right here. I was looking for a replacement to JSSBO (which flares quite a lot), and unfortunately this one also flares, but it almost matches my favorite cast on, so I might leave it.
