Notes

I had a look at the woolsack website, and found they wanted some more cushions, as more athletes asked for them!

They had to be made with 100% British wool, 16” sq, and then sewn up on 3 sides, sent to a Finishing group for stuffing with British wool, labelling and delivered to the Olympic Village!

I found some very nice Blacker Wool, in 3 natural colours, did the Fibonaci pattern on the front and my own stripe pattern on the back. I did an I cord for the side edges to neaten it as the stripes did not match front to back.

I don’t know who received my cushion, which was made in between the Olympics and Paralympics, but Peter Reed -Olympic gold medal in Rowing4s, said he had a cushion and wanted to thank all who made them, said how lovely they all were! :)
