My Beautiful Granddaughter Abi only 12 1/2 years old. She’s already a knockout. She loved the shrug and wore it most of the evening. It fit perfectly.

This will be the 4th one of these I’ve made. I started this on 3/14/13 for my granddaughter for her mother’s wedding on April 20th, 2013. Using size 5(3.75) needles and CO 43 stitches. I have her measurements and am adjusting accordingly
Wrist 6” Arm length 17” Upper arm 10” Back width 16” She said the back length was 10’ but since her upper arm was 10” the back came out to be 12” since I had to cast on some to distinguish the back from the arms. I am using Patons Lace Sequin in Aquamarine. I really like this yarn. It is easy to work with and the projects turn out beautiful.
Since my 12 1/2 yr granddaughter is very tall, for the arms I knit 5 full repeats which came to 90 rows. Then I began to increase 1 st. on each end every 2nd repeat until I had 59 sts. Then I cast on 7 st each side for the back and worked until it was 17”. Then I repeated the arm decreases in reverse. I had to go down a couple of needle sizes at the end since the arm was larger on the way down. I don’t know why. I hope it fits. I will get pictures of her in it after the wedding.
