12/2/12 Color 175 Watermelon Fizz 480 yds, Sour Apple Twist, 80 yds, Heavy Cream 40 yds. Love the color it really matches the red of watermelon. Size 1 addi doing magic loop.

I think I may have enough yarn for 2 pair of socks because my daughters and I have very small feet. I cast on only 54 stitches because they were already big. I also will probably make a smaller heel.

12/4/12 Already almost to the length for the heel.

8/23/13 I’ve done the heel but it is too large have ripped back thanks to my friend Kittyfish. Redid the heels only increasing to 46 stitches. Much better ready for the leg.
Leah gave me a formula for knitting the heels when not using the stitches in the pattern. When starting the heel turn, knit half the stitches plus 2 then continue with the k2tog, k1 pattern until you are back to the original number of stitches before starting the gusset increases or the required number of stitches needed for pattern repeat.
